Will there be a co-op campaign?

The official sources checked for this guide do not confirm a cooperative campaign or explain how friends would share a campaign. Steam’s Online PvP category confirms a form of player-versus-player online play; it does not describe a co-op campaign.

The beta announcement names two opening single-player Space Marines campaigns, followed separately by multiplayer and custom battles. Combining those entries into “multiplayer campaign confirmed” would change what the notice says.

Does the Steam “Co-op” tag confirm it?

No. Steam displays popular user-defined tags separately from its Features list. A player-applied tag is not a developer announcement of a mode. Equally, a missing Online Co-op feature at this reading is not proof that campaign co-op will never be added or announced.

Can we assume it works like Warhammer III?

Warhammer III has its own multiplayer rules. Its campaign player limits, simultaneous turns and session behaviour cannot establish those rules for this separate game. If campaign cooperation is essential to your group, wait for a mode-specific announcement before treating it as available.

Does the eight-player listing mean eight-player campaign co-op?

No mode-specific conclusion follows from that number alone. The PS5 store entry describes an overall online-player limit. It does not identify an eight-player cooperative campaign, a 4v4 battle or the number of players on PC and Xbox.

Can PC, PS5 and Xbox players play together?

For a group split between PC and console, the next useful announcement would name the supported platform combinations and modes. This guide does not label crossplay “unsupported” simply because those details remain open.

What multiplayer is planned for the closed beta?

The test’s playable forces are a limited selection. In particular, Aeldari’s absence from the beta does not remove them from the announced launch factions. “Custom Factions” describes a test option, rather than a fifth launch faction.
