What does the test include?
The closed beta is PC-only through Steam. It includes part of the tutorial, two opening Space Marines campaigns, multiplayer and custom battles, and advanced customisation. [source]
Space Marines, Astra Militarum, Orks and Custom Factions are listed for beta multiplayer and custom battles. Aeldari are excluded from this test. [source]
Creative Assembly describes the beta as unfinished development work, with bugs, balance issues and placeholder content expected.
When does the beta start?
The 18 September notice says the schedule will be shared with successful applicants later. This guide has no confirmed public start date from that notice.
Read the official Steam announcements for subsequent updates. This fan site cannot register you, send invitations or grant access.
Beta timing versus release
The announced full-game release window is 2027, with an exact date still unannounced. That window does not specify when this limited Steam test begins, and the test’s platform scope does not limit the announced console release.
